Program Educational Goals:
- Students will demonstrate an understanding of the evidence-based entrepreneurship process.
- Students will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, providing them the ability to recognize opportunity and the capacity to utilize their means to pursue the creation of value from new ideas.
- Students will demonstrate effectiveness in pitching/selling new ideas and bringing people together around a shared vision.
- Students will understand the applicability of entrepreneurship education (and especially an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset) to any organizational context.

Major Requirements:

Nine credits from any combination of 200-level or higher ENTR-designated or ENTR cross-listed courses, including but not limited to: Note:
*ENTR 350 , ENTR 351 , ENTR 355 , ENTR 356 , ENTR 452 , and ENTR 455 may NOT be counted toward the fulfillment of the entrepreneurship elective requirement. ENTR 211 may be counted as an elective only if it is not counted toward fulfillment of the Oral Communication requirement. Intrapreneurship:

Technical Competency:
Fifteen credits, including at least six at the 300-level or above, from courses that comprise: (1) an established minor, (2) the disciplinary core of an established major OR (3) a coherent, well-defined area of study and practice. Specific examples of the latter are:
- A technical competency in “Human Computer Interaction” might include: ART 204 , ART 215 , COMM 245 , MISY 410 , and EDUC 421 .
- A technical competency in ”Holistic Wellness” might include: BHAN 155 , BHAN 202 BHAN 301 , BHAN 332 , and LEAD 300 .
- And a technical competency in “Real Estate Finance” might include: ECON 393 , FINC 459 , FINC 314 , FINC 317 , and POSC 355 .
A specific course plan for fulfillment of the technical competency requirement should be established during the freshman or sophomore year and must be approved by an advisor for Horn Entrepreneurship.
International:

Free electives may be taken in any department to bring the total credits to the 121 needed for graduation. Students who plan their schedules carefully may be able to substantially increase free elective credits counted toward the total needed for graduation. Free elective courses may be taken on a pass/fail basis, but no more than three credit hours of pass/fail coursework may be completed in any one semester. No more than two credits of BHAN 120 may apply. Restrictions:
Entrepreneurship majors may NOT be simultaneously enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Minor . However, they may double count a maximum of 3 credits toward the fulfillment of requirements for the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Minor or an entrepreneurship-focused certificate. Credits counted toward the fulfillment of University, Technical Competency and Free Elective requirements are EXEMPTED from this restriction and may be double counted to meet the social entrepreneurship minor or certificate requirements. Credits to Total a Minimum of 121
