Program Educational Goals
- Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and communicate the solutions in hospitality industry settings.
- Value the significance of people to the hospitality business enterprise.
- Apply technology solutions in hospitality operations.
- Develop an entrepreneurial mindset pertinent to the hospitality industry.
- Effectively communicate knowledge and ideas in an increasingly global hospitality marketplace.
- Evaluate the legal, economic, ethical, environmental, and socio-cultural effects of hospitality business decisions.
- Explain the importance of data and analytics in the hospitality industry.
- Employ data driven solutions in the hospitality industry in to enhance yield and subsequently improve operational efficiency and service effectiveness.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new and existing hotels using contemporary modeling techniques used in hospitality industry settings.

In addition, sufficient elective credits must be taken to meet the minimum credits required for the degree. May include Military Science, Music, or Physical Education. Only two credits of activity-type Physical Education and four credits of Music ensemble and four credits of 100 and 200-level courses in Military Science/Air Force may be counted toward the degree.
