Program Educational Goals


  1. Demonstrate an applied understanding of how the fundamentals of plant and soil sciences and climate and socioeconomic issues intersect to contribute to sustainable food systems.
  2. Convey knowledge, issues, and advancements of sustainable food systems effectively to target audiences in oral and written forms.
  3. Solve scientific and practical challenges in sustainable food systems innovatively with in-depth knowledge, critical thinking, hypothesis testing, and result validation.

3-6 credits required.

Electives:


After required courses are completed, sufficient elective credits must be taken to meet the minimum credit requirement for the degree.
