Integrated Design Minor

Minor Requirements:
The Integrated Design Minor is focused on engaging students in the understanding of diverse perspectives, design process and production of designed objects and experiences. The minor requires eighteen credit hours and only 6 credits may be from a single department.
Minimum grade of C- required. Core Design Project:
All students complete a team project that demonstrates the three core design concepts: Perspectives, Process, Production Perspectives:
Courses focused on learning, observing and understanding diverse perspectives and human nature. One of the following: Process:
Courses focused on methodologies and processes related to the design of things and experiences. One of the following: Production:
Courses focused on manifesting ideas, knowledge and skills into design action. Three of the following: Note:
Substitutions for the above courses may be made with permission of the program director. Independent studies and special problems courses may also count toward the minor with the director’s approval. Credits to Total a Minimum of 18
