Free Electives (3+ credits)

Free electives may be taken in any department to bring the total credits to the 121 needed for graduation. Students who plan their schedules carefully may be able to substantially increase free elective credits counted toward the total needed for graduation. Free elective courses may be taken on a pass/fail basis, but no more than three credit hours of pass/fail coursework may be completed in any one semester. No more than two credits of  BHAN 120  may apply.

Restrictions

Entrepreneurship majors may NOT be simultaneously enrolled in the entrepreneurship minor. However, they may double count a maximum of 3 credits toward the fulfillment of requirements for the social entrepreneurship minor or an entrepreneurship-focused certificate. Credits counted toward the fulfillment of University, Technical Competency and Free Elective requirements are EXEMPTED from this restriction and may be double counted to meet the social entrepreneurship minor or certificate requirements. However, no credits can be triple counted (for example, as fulfilling a university requirement, a technical competency requirement and a minor/certificate requirement).
