MUSC 498 - Music History Capstone Credit(s): 3 MUSIC HISTORY CAPSTONE Component: Independent Study Provides a capstone experience for Music History majors. Working with an advisor, students choose a topic, familiarize themselves with existing scholarship, conduct original research and analysis, and contribute to the scholarly discussion around the topic. Culminates in a 20-25-page essay of original musicological scholarship. Repeatable for Credit: N Allowed Units: 3 Multiple Term Enrollment: N Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: MUSC 411 and two courses from MUSC 314 MUSC 315 , MUSC 316 , and MUSC 317 .
