MUSIC HISTORY CAPSTONE
Component: Independent Study
Provides a capstone experience for Music History majors. Working with an advisor, students choose a topic, familiarize themselves with existing scholarship, conduct original research and analysis, and contribute to the scholarly discussion around the topic. Culminates in a 20-25-page essay of original musicological scholarship.

PREREQ: MUSC 411 and two courses from MUSC 314 MUSC 315 , MUSC 316 , and MUSC 317 .
