HDFS 290 - Early Childhood Family Engagement and Diversity

Topics include strategies to develop relationships with families that support positive family and child outcomes in an early childhood setting; risk factors shaping the development and functioning of marginalized children and families. Theory, research, and practices discussed will emphasize family-professional collaboration, empowerment, family-focused practice, and social-justice.
