ENGL 394 - Language, Power, and Equity

Examines how power functions in and through the English language with an emphasis on how language can perpetuate and/or interrupt social inequality. Equips students with practical tools and research methods for analyzing a wide variety of texts, such as in-person conversations, online interactions, speeches, news media, websites, novels, magazines, mission statements, and policies.
