NTDT 460 - Community Nutrition

COMMUNITY NUTRITION
Component: Lecture
Nutritional care as a part of health maintenance, health promotion, and health care delivery in community settings and the relationship of community resources, structure, and dynamics, to the individual. This course includes supervised field work that provides a minimum of 15 hours to a community nutrition or health agency.

PREREQ: NTDT 400  or NTDT 611. RESTRICTIONS: Open to Nutrition and Dietetics majors, Nutrition and Medical Sciences Honor students, and Nutrition Honors students only. Students are offered site opportunities and final placement is managed by the instructor.
