Applies economic theory to business and managerial decision making. Includes analysis of consumer demand, theory of production and supply and the effects of different market structures and pricing strategies.

PREREQ: Must earn C- or better in ECON 101  and one of the following: MATH 114 , MATH 115 , MATH 117 , MATH 221 , MATH 222 , MATH 241 , MATH 242 , or MATH 243 . RESTRICTIONS: Credit can be earned for only one among ECON 251, ECON 255 , ECON 300  or ECON 301 .
