ECON 301 - Quantitative Microeconomic Theory (3cr.)Credit(s): 3 QUANTITATIVE MICROECON THEORY Component: Lecture Uses calculus to study price determination and income distribution in a market economy; and the behavior of firms and industry under conditions of pure and imperfect competition. Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: ECON 101 and either MATH 221 or MATH 241 . Must earn C- or better in ECON 101 and one of the following: MATH 221 , MATH 222 , MATH 241 , MATH 242 , or MATH 243 . RESTRICTIONS: Credit can be earned for only one among ECON 251 , ECON 255 , ECON 300 or ECON301. BS majors must take ECON301.
