Operations Management (BS)


University Requirements:


Major Requirements:


Some of the University requirements may be met by the Major requirements. Students should consult with their advisor for clarification.

Additional Breadth Requirements:


  • Six credits of Creative Arts and Humanities, History and Cultural Change, and/or foreign language instruction.
  • Twelve credits (includes PSYC 100) of Social and Behavioral Sciences (one SOCI course required), no more than six credits may be taken in the same department.
  • Seven credits of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology (CISC, MATH, and STAT courses do not apply), with one assiciated laboratory credit
  • Credit(s): 3

Professional Electives:


  • Two ACCT, BUAD, ECON, ENTR, FINC, MISY or SPTM course (at the 300-level or higher) (six credits)
    • One ECON course at the 200-level or higher and/or one ENTR course may be applied to the Professional Electives. If ECON is used as a Professional Elective, an ECON may NOT be used as an International course.
    • ACCT, BUAD, ECON, ENTR, FINC or MISY electives are 300-level or higher courses offered through the departments of Accounting & MIS, Busines Administration, Economics and Finance. ACCT 302 , ACCT 351  and ACCT 351  do not count toward degree for majors.
    • Only one of ACCT 302  or MISY 261  may be used for graduation.

After required courses are completed, sufficient credits must be taken to meet the minimum credits required for the degree and no more than two credits can be from BHAN 120 .
