Foreign Language Studies Minor

The Foreign Language Studies (FLS) minor requires participation in a UD Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures sponsored semester abroad program. See the Languages, Literatures and Cultures Study Abroad Coordinator for details and prerequisites. Credit requirements for the FLS minors are as follows:

Minor Requirements:

Core Courses:

Two SPAN 2xx, 3xx, and/or 4xx courses (six credits)
SPAN 306 - Practical Oral/Written Expression Credit(s): 3
or
SPAN 4xx course (three credits)
SPAN 307 - Topics in Contemporary Latin American Culture Credit(s): 3
or
SPAN 308 - Contemporary Spain II Credit(s): 3

Study Abroad:

Three SPAN 3xx, SPAN 4xx, and/or any course(s) in other disciplines taught in Spanish on semester abroad programs.

Note:

A student cannot receive both a Spanish Minor and a Spanish Studies Minor.
