Particle Technology Certificate

Admission Requirements:

Students eligible to pursue this graduate certificate are qualified undergraduate, graduate or engineering professionals who show satisfactory completion of STEM undergraduate course prerequisites (earning a GPA of 3.0 or higher) in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, materials science or physics disciplines so long as the undergraduate program includes engineering thermodynamics, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra and transport phenomena (fluid mechanics, heat and mass transport).

Program Requirements:

Each certificate program course must be completed with a grade no lower than B-and the overall GPA in program courses must be 3.0 or higher. The program can also be completed as a part-time student, and all Certificate coursework can be completed remotely via distance learning. It is expected that two of the three certificate courses will be transferrable into the MEPT (Master of Engineering in Particle Technology) program should the student wish to continue on to the graduate degree.
