ECON 303 - Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory without Calculus Credit(s): 3 INTERM MACRO THEORY W/O CALC Component: Lecture This course introduces the foundations of macroeconomic theory using economic tools. We study the aggregate behavior of consumers and firms and gain a deep understanding of the factors that influence the determination of important macroeconomic variables such as output, employment, wages, and the interest rate. Topics include economic growth, general equilibrium, intertemporal decisions of consumers and firms, unemployment, fiscal policy, and welfare economics. The course emphasizes analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
