LARC 330 - The Built Environment

THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT

This course focuses on applying a broad range of materials and methods installation or construction that are commonly used in landscape architecture design implementation. Students build upon the hand and digital drafting and graphic communication skills learned in LARC 230 to create construction documentation sets for small sites. Course activities are focused on applying, an understanding of statics and mechanics of simple structures; properties and procedures of wood, masonry and concrete construction; construction sequencing and adoption of sustainable materials and methods.

PREREQ: LARC 150  and LARC 230 .
