NURS 624 - Primary Care of Children (3cr.) Credit(s): 3
PRIMARY CARE OF CHILDREN
Component: Lecture
This course focuses on the delivery of primary health care to children. Comprehensive health assessment of children, including health promotion needs, growth and development, family and cultural dynamics, physical and psychosocial status is addressed. Emphasis is placed on pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies appropriate for the management of children experiencing episodic illness and selected chronic illnesses and disabilities.
Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option
PREREQ: NURS 693 and NURS 694 . COREQ: NURS 696 . RESTRICTIONS: Open to AGNP and FNP students only.
