HIST 735 - Topics in the Modern World (3cr.) Credit(s): 3 TOPICS IN THE MODERN WORLD Component: Discussion Investigate the political, economic, cultural and social events that linked the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Ocean Worlds since1800, while attending to the structures and systems of global connectivity. These events have transformed nations, culture, everyday life, and individual identity during this era. Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: HIST 710 , HIST 715 . RESTRICTIONS: This course is restricted to students enrolled in the new MA of Social Studies in World History for teachers program. It is a required course for graduate students in this program. Other students must seek faculty approval for taking this course.
