EDUC 856 - Introduction to Statistical Inference (3cr.) Credit(s): 3 INTRO TO STATISTICAL INFERENCE Component: Lecture Quantitative analysis topics include describing univariate and bivariate data distributions, calculating and interpreting summary statistics, the logic of least squares estimation, the rudiments of probability theory, selected probability models and their interrelationships, the logic of null hypothesis testing, interval estimation and selected inferential techniques. Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: EDUC 665 or equivalent RESTRICTIONS: Requires admission to doctoral program.
