Four major sections: (1) cell structure/function; (2) signaling mechanisms and cell fate; (3) protein biosynthesis and trafficking and (4) integrative cell biology. Requires interpreting and evaluating data from primary scientific literature.

PREREQ: BISC305, BISC401 and either BISC306 or BISC408. RESTRICTIONS: Meets literature requirement for biology majors.
