The Food Truck Management Certificate Program is an 8-week noncredit course designed to provide aspiring and current food truck entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage and grow their food truck businesses. It’s offered by Professional & Continuing Studies (PCS), in partnership with Delaware Small Business Development Center (SBDC). This program will be delivered live via Zoom, with an optional in-person hybrid final session.
Led by Tom Thunstrom, Center Director at Delaware SBDC, this comprehensive program covers essential topics including:
- Introduction to the Food Truck Industry
- Market Research
- Business Planning
- Financial Management
- Business Formation and Compliance
- Operational Efficiency
- Marketing and Sales
The program culminates in a final in-person session where participants can pitch their business plans and engage with peers and industry experts.
