Program Educational Goals
Graduates of the Food and Agribusiness Marketing and Management Major will be able to: - Demonstrate knowledge of the structure and functioning of all aspects of the food system and value chain domestically and internationally.
- Effectively communicate agribusiness issues and details about business development.
- Conduct empirical research to derive meaningful, evidence-based conclusions about the food system; including problem identification, data collection, and analysis.
- Apply fundamental concepts from accounting, management, marketing, and economics to analyze agricultural and food systems.
- Discuss contemporary issues of food systems and agribusiness and apply responsible and ethical industry conduct that respects diverse perspectives and promotes inclusivity.

Note:
A maximum of three credits of Independent Study in Applied Economics and Statistics and a maximum of six credits of Independent Study in all areas, including Applied Economics and Statistics, may be counted toward a degree. Electives:
After required courses are completed, sufficient credits must be taken to meet the minimum credits required for the degree. Recommended Minors and/or Double Majors
Students are encouraged to select a minor or double major to fulfill electives. Complete one of the following minors: - Business Administration Minor

- Sustainable Apparel and Textile Innovation Minor
Or one of the following double majors: - Agriculture and Natural Resources
