All the University’s generic requirements for the Honors Degree
30 Credits in Honors Courses
Of these Honors courses:
At least 12 credits must be from the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology (KAAP) or in related courses that are specifically required for the major. These courses include: Credits / Units: 12
If KAAP400 Research Methods is used to satisfy the Honors Capstone requirement, it must be taken in the last two semesters of a student’s degree program.
At least 12 credits must be taken at the 300-level or higher, not including the first-year interdisciplinary Honors colloquium (if numbered at the 300-level). Credits / Units: 12
Three credits must be in an Honors Degree seminar or an Honors Degree Capstone course experience that is approved by the student’s major department and the Honors College. This seminar or course is to be completed in the last two semesters of a student’s degree program. Credits / Units: 3
Plus additional Honors credits as needed to reach the 30 total required Honors credits. Credits / Units: 30
