Hospitality and Sport Business Analytics (MS)

  1. Articulate the state of the hospitality and sports industries today.
  2. Develop proficiency in data collection methods specific to hospitality and sport industries.
  3. Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the hospitality and sport industries and learn how to use data to optimize these metrics for improved customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  4. Investigate and solve key business challenges facing these industries using statistical methods for effective decision making.
  5. Effectively communicate the results of analytical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences fostering collaboration between data professionals and hospitality/ sport management.
  6. Evaluate, devise, and implement strategies to enhance business performance across hospitality and sports organizations.
  7. Apply fundamental principles of revenue management towards achieving firm outcomes of optimized capacity and revenue maximization.
  8. Perform feasibility analyses for hospitality or sports related investment decisions.

 

Concentrations:


Students must complete the requirements for either the Hospitality or Sport Concentration.

Hospitality Concentration:


Complete 9 credits.

Sport Concentration:


Complete 9 credits.

Credits to Total a Minimum of 30
