Clinical Psychological Science (MS)

Students who successfully complete the MS program in clinical psychological science will be able to:
- Demonstrate a robust theoretical and empirical understanding of psychopathology, diagnostic assessment, and evidence-based clinical practice, in accordance with the current state of research in those areas.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and practical knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, and appropriate cultural and linguistic modifications, for the most commonly occurring mental health concerns among children, adolescents, and adults, including those from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrate adherence to ethical and legal standards in accordance with professional standards and relevant state laws.
- Demonstrate independent critical thinking skills which will enable them to be informed consumers of clinical research who employ data-driven clinical approaches to care.

Required coursework:
These courses are required for the degree. Colloquia:
Three total credits of colloquia over three semesters are required. Supervised clinical practice:
15 credits related to supervised clinical practice are required. Seminar elective:
3 credits of these courses are required, or alternative course(s) as approved by the Director of Graduate Education in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Credits to Total a Minimum of 60
