Program Requirements
The Biden School offers a combined 4+1 Bachelor of Science (BS) in Leadership and Master of Public Administration (MPA) program that allows students to complete both the BS and the MPA in a total of five years of full-time study. All requirements of both degree programs must be satisfied and up to 12 credits of graduate coursework may be dual counted to satisfy requirements of both the BS degree and the MPA degree. Students may apply to the 4+1 BS/MPA program after completing 60 credits in the undergraduate degree, which is typically the fall of their junior year. Student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 and must be enrolled in, or have completed, the introductory course sequence of UAPP110, UAPP225, and UAPP325 by the time they apply to the program.
