(Dual Degree)
The Hospitality Business Management curriculum leads to a Master of Science degree and is based in business and hospitality industry-related courses. Students are provided a strong foundation in analytical skills to be effective in problem-solving and in evaluating information age opportunities in the hospitality industry. The curriculum is structured to provide an analytically focused education with a strong emphasis on domain knowledge specific to the hospitality industry.
Successful candidates who choose to continue their studies and qualify for the MBA at the Lerner College of Business and Economics can complete the dual degree (MBA/MS) with the addition of 30 credits. This additional MBA component of 30 credits provides students solid skills in the functional areas of Accounting, Finance, Marketing, etc. Students with non-business undergraduate degrees can use the additional credits to augment their business fundamentals and apply them within the context of experiential hospitality services domain.
