Note:

Please note that minors who wish to enroll in MUSC 195 in the spring semester must first pass the Music Theory Placement Exam or pass MUSC 184 - Music Fundamentals: Theory and Fluency before enrolling. Please contact the music admissions office for more information.
Students who are not majoring in music or do not possess a strong background in music theory are encouraged to take MUSC 101 and MUSC 105 or MUSC 106 in place of the major-specific courses MUSC 185 and MUSC 195 ).
