Baccalaureate for the Registered Nurse (BSN)

Requirements:


The BRN program is intended for licensed registered nurses who are graduates of associate degree or diploma programs. Nurses transfer 30 credits earned for successful completion of licensing exam.

Prerequisite courses: A minimum total of 22 credits in following five categories: Anatomy and Physiology, General Biology, General Chemistry, Microbiology, and Nutrition.

Other prerequisite courses: Second English composition course (3 cr), Psychology (3 cr), Lifespan development (3 cr), and Statistics (3 cr).

Note:


*In NURS 443 , course requires completion of a portfolio and 84 practica hours.

For NURS 411 /NURS 412 /NURS 414  Topics in Healthcare Delivery courses, the total credit number required for graduation program is nine credits.

Electives:


After required courses are completed, sufficient elective credits must be taken to meet the minimum credit requirement for the degree.
