Certificate Requirements

The certificate requires the completion 10 credits to satisfy three categories of requirements. The certificate is open to ALL undergraduate students.

New Product Development and Practicum

Select a new product development domain and fulfill its requirements by completing one background knowledge course  and one practicum course (six credits):

There is no set list of courses for the “new agricultural goods and services” practicum. Rather, any course that focuses on providing students with a meaningful opportunity to gain first-hand experience in attempting to develop a viable new agricultural product may be used to satisfy this requirement.

To seek approval for a specific practicum, students will be required to submit a request in writing to the certificate’s faculty director. The request should indicate the course being proposed to satisfy the requirement and address how the course activities/project(s) can be expected to satisfy the criterion noted above (i.e., provide a meaningful opportunity…).

Credits to Total a Minimum of 10
