Computer Science Minor

Minor Requirements:

Applications to be admitted into the computer science minor are submitted online through UDSIS. Students must have earned a grade of B- or better in CISC 106   or CISC 108  or CISC 181 .

Note that the College of Engineering requires a grade of C- or better in all courses counted towards a minor.

• CISC 106 - General Computer Science for Engineers (3cr.)

• or

• CISC 108 - Introduction to Computer Science I (3cr.)

• CISC 181 - Introduction to Computer Science II (3cr.)
• CISC 210 - Introduction to Systems Programming (3cr.)
• CISC 220 - Data Structures (3cr.)
• Six additional credits of CISC at the 200-level or above, excluding CISC 355 and CISC 356.  At most 3 credits of CISC 366 or CISC 466 may be used to satisfy this requirement.

Credits to Total a Minimum of 18
