Health Sciences Research Minor

The minor in Health Sciences Research is open to all students who desire a strong, experiential foundation in research within health sciences settings. The minor requires 18 credit hours, with all receiving a standard grade. A minimum of two different research experiences is required, including a minimum of three credits of HLTH 490 in a clinical research setting (with a patient population of participants), which may be on or off-campus. Only the one research methods course may be counted toward both the minor and the student’s major. All credits included in the minor must be completed with a C- or better.
