Major Requirements:
- General Biology with Lab (four credits)**
- Anatomy and Physiology (six credits)*
- Microbiology with Lab (four credits)**
- General Chemistry with Lab (four credits)**
- Bioorganic Chemistry (four credits)**
- Life Span Development (three credits)
- Nutrition (three credits)
- General Psychology (three credits)
- Statistics (three credits)
- Free electives - sufficient credits, in addition to major/nursing requirements, to meet the minimum credits for the degree.
Note:
*Anatomy and Physiology course must be completed within five years of admission.
** Other science prerequisites must be completed within 10 years of admission
Core:
Many nursing courses are offered once each academic year. Students must complete selected required lower division courses before enrolling in upper division nursing courses. Nursing courses must be taken in sequence unless otherwise specified. 66 NURS total credits.
Electives:
After required courses are completed, sufficient elective credits must be taken to meet the minimum credit requirement for the degree.
