Sociology Minor

Minimum grade of C- required.

Minor Requirements:

SOCI 201 - Introduction to Sociology (3cr.)

One of the following:

SOCI 301 - Introduction to Sociological Research (4cr.)
SOCI 312 - Theories of Society (3cr.)
or

One of the following:
PSYC 209 - Measurement and Statistics (3cr.)
ECON 422 - Econometric Methods and Models I (3cr.)
ECON 426 - Mathematical Economic Analysis (3cr.)
MATH 205 - Statistical Methods (4cr.)
POSC 300 - Research Methods for Political Science (3cr.)
POSC 434 - Political Thought I (3cr.)
POSC 435 - Political Thought II (3cr.)
Students who elect to use one of the non-SOCI courses may do so, but must complete an additional three credits in Sociology for a total of 18 credits of coursework in Sociology.

Restricted Electives:

Twelve credits of SOCI electives.
- At least nine credits must be at the 300-level or above.
