The Materials Science and Engineering Department offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in Materials Science and Engineering. The department offers minors in Materials Science and Engineering and in Nanoscale Materials degrees. All Engineering departments offer senior projects concerned with the properties of materials. These technical elective courses are strongly recommended for students intending later to pursue masters (MMSE) or doctoral (Ph.D) degrees in Materials Science and Engineering.
