BISC 217 - Introductory Biology I Laboratory Credit(s): 1 INTRODUCTORY BIOLOGY I LAB Component: Laboratory This laboratory course is the first in a two-semester sequence. The laboratory focuses on the testing of hypotheses, data analysis and scientific writing in the scope of the following topics; the molecular basis of life, structure and function of cells, energy transformations, classical Mendelian genetics and the flow of information from DNA to RNA to proteins.
