POSC 493 - Hate and Extremism Credit(s): 3 HATE AND EXTREMISM Component: Lecture Hate crimes and extremism are deeply rooted in fear, stereotypes, and systems of power and oppression. This course will provide a comprehensive examination of hate and extremism from a psychological perspective. We will review key theories and findings, focusing on classic papers and contemporary research.
