MMSC 210 - Introduction to Genetic Counseling Credit(s): 1
INTRO TO GENETIC COUNSELING
Introduction to the principles and practices of genetic counseling, including an introduction to the different arenas/fields of genetic counseling, concepts regarding non-directive counseling and patient autonomy, decision making and risk communication. An overview of genetic counseling techniques and specializations will be presented.
