ECON 340 - International Economics Credit(s): 3 INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS Component: Lecture Provides a foundational understanding of international trade and finance concepts, theories, and policies. It covers trade theories like comparative advantage and the Heckscher-Ohlin model, examines trade policies and their impacts, and explores international capital flows and the role of multinational corporations. Additionally, it addresses key topics in international finance, including the balance of payments and exchange rate determination. Current events analysis is integrated to apply economic concepts to real-world situations.
