CHIN 320 - Chinese Film and Culture Credit(s): 3 CHINESE FILM AND CULTURE Component: Lecture This is a content-based Intermediate-Mid language course that aims to develop all four language skills while exploring familiar and some researched topics featured in three contemporary films in Mandarin Chinese. These topics include education, economic development, career choices, family life, and relationships. Special attention is given to how culture, tradition, and social inequalities impact family dynamics in Chinese-speaking regions.
