MATH 010 - Intermediate Algebra Credit(s): 3 INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA Component: Lecture This course prepares students with the skills necessary for pre-calculus and college mathematics and statistics. Topics include solving equations (linear, rational, and quadratic) and inequalities, linear functions, systems of equations, and operations with polynomial, rational, and radical expressions. Repeatable for Credit: N Allowed Units: 3 Multiple Term Enrollment: N Grading Basis: Remedial PREREQ: Students must achieve an acceptable score on the Math Placement Exam in accordance with current standards determined by the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
