NURS 628 - Evidence-Based Practice Research and TheoryCredit(s): 3 NURSING RESEARCH Component: Lecture Examines the science of nursing from theoretical and research perspectives and addresses theory as the foundation for research and evidence-based practice. Focus on the application of research and evidence-based practice including ethical aspects of research. Learn methods of qualitative and quantitative research, critical appraisal of evidence and synthesis of clinical practice literature. Analysis of quantitative and qualitative research methods to improve health care outcomes in the practice setting will be emphasized.
