OPTMIZTN & SPREADSHEET MODLING

Managers often find spreadsheets natural, intuitive and user-friendly platforms for organizing information and performing ‘what if’ analyses. Hence, spreadsheets have therefore become indispensable tools of modern business analysis and decision-making. This class teaches students to structure, represent, analyze, and solve various business problems on Excel spreadsheets. In addition, the course shows students how to leverage mathematical programming solvers to provide prescriptive analytics.
