CRITICAL FEMINIST PEDAGOGY

Explore the conceptual relationship between critical pedagogy and feminism. The course will use a feminist lens to explore questions involving sex and sexuality, gender, technology, and the possibilities of teaching as praxis involving power, hierarchy, social change, transformation and revolution. 1-credit seminar with an associated 3-credit teaching practicum. Students will lead discussion sessions in conjunction with 200 level Women’s Studies classes.
