UAPP 449 - Civil Rights Law and Policy Credit(s): 3 CIVIL RIGHTS LAW AND POLICY Component: Lecture Examines the origin and evolution of the laws and policies that govern the rights of African-Americans and other people of color in the United States. Examines emerging approaches to civil rights scholarship and considers the implications of the Supreme Court’s recent embrace of a conservative posture in civil rights issues.
