SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY OF FASHION

This course focuses on study of clothing and appearance as important contributors to meaning of fashion through individual and collective behaviors in social contexts.  Theories from social psychology are applied to understand the processes of which clothing and appearance cues are managed and perceived by individuals and groups and the important functions they play in society.
