MATH 115 - Pre-Calculus

Component: Lecture
The various classes of functions and their graphs are explored. Functionclasses include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential,logarithmic and trigonometric. Skills and concepts needed for calculus (MATH221) are emphasized.

PREREQ: Requires a grade of C- or better in MATH 010  or students must achieve an acceptable score on the Math Placement Exam in accordance with current standards determined by the Department of Mathematical Sciences. RESTRICTIONS: Only four credits from any combination of MATH 113 , MATH 114 , MATH115, MATH 117 , MATH 127 , and MATH 231 can count toward graduation.
