WOMS 424 - Women in Literature and Society (3cr.)Credit(s): 3 WOMEN IN LITERATURE & SOCIETY Component: Lecture This INSIDE/OUT class focuses on deep reading of several form of literature. The class investigates the role of women in literature as authors, readers and central characters, and uses literature as a window into social views of gender. Assigned material explores the particular themes of voice, agency, cultural difference and social structure.
