LATN 301 - Advanced Intermediate Latin Prose (3cr.)Credit(s): 3 ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE PROSE Component: Lecture Focuses on the works (in the original language) of one or more prose authors with particular attention to interpretative issues such as themes and contemporary intellectual and cultural milieu. Readings drawn from the philosophical, historical, and oratorical works of authors such as Tacitus, Pliny the Elder, Pliny the Younger, Caesar, Cicero, Sallust, and Seneca in rotation or in combination.
