ANTH 106 - Introduction to Anthropology of Health (3cr.)

It covers topics ranging from evolutionary perspectives on health, ethnomedical systems, disease vs. illness, alternative medicine, placebo and nocebo, diet and nutrition, growth and development, reproductive health, aging, infections and chronic disease, stress, mental health, social determinants and health disparities.
